Bible verses related to Wasting Time from the King James Version (KJV) by Relevance - Sort By Book Order Ephesians - Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. God Does Not Waste Time! The process may not look like you think it should. The results may not be what you think you want at the time. However, if you trust Him, you will one day see more clearly. You will likely see why He chose to act like He did. I promise you, God does not waste time. His timing is always perfect.

God doesn’t waste time. As David did the menial work of shepherding, he learned how to control a flock, how to bind wounds, how to survive, how to slay vicious beasts. The sun rose on his face, and he soaked in the rays of God’s glory. He danced to the rhythm of God’s heartbeat.   One of my favorite obscure biblical commands is from Deut. (v. in the Hebrew). Right after God gives rules concerning how to deal with wet dreams (i.e., nocturnal seminal emissions – the answer, btw, is to leave the camp, wash with water, and not return until sunset), God issues commands dealing with human waste disposal.

Also, at the end of each chapter I include a pair of relevant spiritual disciplines as practical suggestions for "wasting" time with God (see summary Table , p. 31, Table , p. ). Main points of each chapter: [pages in brackets indicate a summary table or figure in the book].   And today I want to see how much time we can lose, waste, or kill when we worry. The Bible speaks several times about the subject of worry. And we know that we are not to worry but sometimes it seems so difficult not to. But I think sometimes we don't realize why God doesn't want us to worry. We know that He loves us and cares for us and doesn.

In an effort to insert millions of years of time into the Bible, some Christians argue that God’s time is not the same as ours. Because “a day is as a thousand years” to the Lord (2 Peter ; Psalm ), they say the “days” of creation in Genesis 1 could have lasted millions of years.
